I was very nervous and I felt ashamed and embarrassed

I was 15, nearly 16. I was using condoms with my boyfriend at the time and it had split, so I went to the GP and made an emergency appointment.

I was very nervous and I felt ashamed and embarrassed. I felt like people would judge me when they heard what I was asking for and look negatively at me. I was a little worried about long term effects but not very and I didn’t experience any.

I think women feel like they have to justify why they are taking it because they feel that people may judge them for being promiscuous or reckless.
